Primary XC Team Objectives:

1- Create a community of strong athletes. All are valued. All strive to improve. A safe place for all. 

2- To win. To be the best team we can be. To be striving toward this goal together. 

These two objectives are interdependent. Both are vital to our growth and success.

When reaching out to our coaches via text message please copy both coaches, a parent, and the athlete so all parties are clear on all communications. 

Pre-season Program - Practices 6:30 AM Monday thru Saturday

9-12 Grade - full program training from now until August 10th - regular season starts on August 12th

7 & 8 Grade - Ramp Team program meets each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - This session culminates with the our Annual Travis Thurgood Memorial 5k race on Saturday, August 3rd.


$50 Fee for pre-season session for all 9-12 Graders

$30 Fee for pre-season session for 7 & 8 Graders

We will need receipts to verify payment, make payment in the office or ask for it to be charged on your DSD account.

Schedule Highlights

June 24 @ 6:30 AM - Official Daily Practice Begins

July 1-4 - State-Mandated Moratorium, no formal practice

July 9th - 1st Time Trial to determine Varsity group for Altitude Camp

July 16th - Makeup Time Trial (Nationals Track Athletes will participate this day)

August 3rd - Travis Thurgood Memorial 5k

August 5-10 - Varsity Altitude Camp - Snow College Richfield Campus

August 8-10 - Full Team Altitude Camp - Joining the Varsity team at Snow College Richfield Campus
