You can get your Ferritin tested during your annual physical or at other times when you go to see your doctor. If you are looking for a flexible and inexpensive way to test your ferritin only we have found success with an online lab company called Ulta Lab Tests that uses local offices called Quest Diagnostics to get your blood tested.

Go to Ulta Lab Website and create an account and order a ferritin only lab test (should be around $20 plus an $8 fee) they often have discounts. Then schedule a test by finding a lab nearby - there is a Quest Diagnostics Lab in Layton on Antelope Drive. You schedule a time that works and show up for the blood draw, the results are usually available the next day on the Ulta Lab website, you should get an email telling you that the results are ready.
