Racing Tidbit
Why does it matter that I try to run the corners in the inside lanes? Unless there is a concern about being boxed in, it is preferred to run in lane one around the corners. It saves you about 7.65 meters or 25 feet or 3-8 strides per lap for each lane outside of lane one. If you need to pass to keep your pace or it feels right to do it, then go for it, but try to avoid hanging out in lane 2 or 3 every lap.
